Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team at Mortar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, growing, and engaging our clients’ social media presence across multiple platforms. You will develop content strategies, oversee campaigns, and analyze performance to ensure social channels drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Create and implement social media strategies that align with client goals and brand identity.

Content Creation & Management: Oversee the production of engaging content (posts, reels, stories, videos, ads) tailored for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter).

Community Engagement: Manage interactions, respond to comments/messages, and foster strong community relationships.

Campaign Management: Plan and execute paid and organic campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and conversions.

Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, and prepare reports with insights and recommendations.

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep strategies fresh and competitive.

Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content writers, and digital marketing specialists to deliver cohesive campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, and scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Creativity: Strong eye for visual storytelling, branding, and engaging content.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze campaign data and optimize strategies for better results.
  • Communication: Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with designers, content creators, and strategists.
